First Entry

For my first entry I thought that I would write something about my blog title "Paralysis by Analysis". It's a phrase I picked up in my reading, I don't remember precisely where. It applies to me because I do sometimes tend to overly analyze things, and I like (although it's often not possible) to have everything figured out before I start doing anything. This tendency to over-analyze does not make me extremely verbose however, in fact I have often rightly been accused of being too concise.

The "Paralysis by Analysis" often occurs in situations that most people would have no difficulty in handling. I recently visited a church that some of my friends attend, and after the service, a woman asked me if I had enjoyed myself. So much went through my head that I almost couldn't answer, but just before my silence would have been awkward, I managed a "pretty much".

Also, sometimes I have trouble finding a good way to end things.
