Diop has been a surprise as the backup center, but it's hard to seeing the Mavs doing anything in the playoffs without a significant contribution from the recently benched Erick Dampier. Is this just a temporary punishment for Dampier for his poor play? Is the Little General playing mind games?

Damp needs to join Bradley in the YMCA over 30 league this Spring.
We need to get a big man in here that can play. Is Patrick Ewing interested in coming out of retirement? He could do better than Damp!
There's only like 6 big men who can play, and they're not available. The thing is Diop hasn't shown that he's any better than Dampier. Dampier outplayed him in his limited time last game.
