Things I've Learned by Watching the Winter Olympics

I've learned that:

Celebrating before the finish line is a really bad thing to do in snowboard cross, but is perfectly acceptable in cross-country skiing.

USA Hockey has apparently decided to copy USA Basketball in sending a team of guys that can't shoot to the Olympics.

NBC is going to air a new show about lawyers; the difference is that it's about prosecuting attorneys. Has that been done before? (It's not like a watch any lawyer shows).

Austrians are still the best at skiing, Germans are still the best at sliding, Koreans are still the best at short track, and Russians are still the best at figure skating (or maybe at bribing the judges, it's not like anyone knows who's the best at figure skating).

Most of the U.S. cross-country skiing coaches are married to cross-country skiers from other countries.

My second favorite Winter Olympian of all-time, the Herminator, still has it.

NBC has apparently decided not to show my favorite Winter Olympian of all-time, Philip Boit.

Wasn't "Law and Order" about the prosecution's side? Yes, I think so. Nothing new under the sun.

Yes, Law and Order, all four of them, are about catching/prosecuting criminals. This new show even includes a former prosecutor from Law and Order. I guess they're doing it to contrast the "Injustice" show that ABC is doing which involves defense attorneys for wrongly convicted people.

True, nothing new under the sun.

I haven't watched a lawyer show since my parents used to watch Matlock.
