The Battle of Texas ... Won!

That's the Little General, aka, Coach of the Year.

What a great series! Overtime in game 7, basically 6 of the games were toss-ups (the only decisive win was the Mavs' in the 2nd round). Not even some outbreaks of Dick Bavetta could ruin it. Spurs put out a good effort, but simply got nothing from their players other than Duncan/Ginobili/Parker/Bowen.

I'm glad my preseason prediction was so off.

With the way the Pistons have been playing, I think the Mavs have to be considered the slight title favorites right now.

Stephen and the gang here in LA were glued to their cellphones and laptops up till the end. Sounds like it was a great game.

I'm not (completely) overlooking the suns, but without them having Amare the Mavericks are clearly the better team. They just have to take care of business.

Mavs over Suns in 6 (maybe 5)

Pistons over Heat in 7

Mavs over Pistons in 7
