Chaos in the Top 10.

I'm not the type that will keep one team higher than another just because I had them that way last week and they both won the previous week. This week really shook up my top 10, the biggest winners seemed to be the ones that didn't play.

1. Ohio St. (9-0) - At least a 7 point favorite over anyone in the country on a nuetral field.

2. Michigan (9-0) - Still consistent but not spectular. Uninspiring win against Northwestern would normally be cause for a drop, but no one deserves to pass them.

3. West Virginia (7-0) - I didn't want to put them this high, but everyone in front of then dropped. They've been consistent as well, but against weak competiton. Huge game for them Thursday at Louisville.

4. Florida (7-1) - Even though they're the most penalized team in the country and they can't kick field goals at all, I s till think they're better than the rest.

5. Louisville (7-0) - They also raise due to teams dropping. Once again, big game on Thursday.

6. Tennessee (7-1) - Jumps in after not being in the top 10 last week, mainly due to others dropping. Only loss was to Florida.

7. California (7-1) - Another new team to the top 10. Only loss was at Tennessee.

8. LSU (6-2) - Moves up 2 spots despite not playing. Big game next week at Tennessee.

9. Texas (8-1) - Drops due to bearly winning at Texas Tech. Also, there fortunate win at Nebraska last week looks worse with Nebraska having lost to Oklahoma St.

10. Auburn (8-1) - An inconsistant team that drops due to their close escape from Mississippi, but gets the nod for the last spot due to their quality wins.

Also considered: USC.
