First College Football Poll of the Season!

My poll measures how well a team has played (taking into account the caliber of their opponent). All games are counted the same, which is why you get situations like team A beating team B but being ranked behind them. It's because for the rest of the season team B has played better. Not to mention that it is impossible to actually have a ranking where all teams are ranked of ahead of all the teams they have beaten (the simplest example is if A beat B, B beats C, and C beats A).

There seems to be a attack of parity in college football, as this is the lowest I've ever seen scores for my ranked teams.

I was surprised Minnesota, Miami, and BYU made the poll. They largely made it because they have avoided having a really bad game. I'm not sure there's actually 25 "good" teams this season.

You got your tables to work this year. Didn't you have trouble with that last football season??

Rutgers is for real, and your formulas obviously haven't watched Minnesota play Michigan and California... they suck. And I'm a Gopher fan, so that's saying a lot.

Thainamu, I need get to the big chuck of white space before the table taken car of, but I can't gt the columns the size I want for some reason.

Darius, I don't think Minnesota is good either, it's basically a case of someone having to be ranked. Rutgers is much improved, but I seriously doubt they deserve to be a ranked team. We'll see if they can be competitive with West Virginia, Louisville and even Pittsburgh.
