I was going to make fun of you, but I know a couple ladies from my old church who did this for years and always put the coins in a jar. It was amazing how much $ they ended up with.
Maybe you could expand your efforts to searching under the sofa cushions at all your friends' houses. Give them back their own money minus a finder's fee.
