NBA Playoff Time

From the media news it appears Dirk's going to win the MVP. Which is sort of ironic since this has probably been Nash's best season and possibly not Dirk's best.

My playoff predictions:

Mavs over Warriors in 5
Mavs over Rockets in 6
Mavs over Spurs in 7
Mavs over Pistons in 6

yeah, that's the problem with the NBA's MVP award, it almost always goes to the best player on the best team in recent years. As you said earlier in the year, Garnett was once again the real MVP, at least at the all-star break. He should own at least 4 MVP awards, instead of the one he has. Unfortunately, with the exception of a couple years, he hasn't had much help around him.

Are the Mavs afraid of Don Nelson? Don Nelson, Sr., that is.

I forgot how much of a hot streak the W's were on, this is going to be a tough series.

I don't think there was a clear candidate this season for MVP. Maybe Kobe deserves it, he's my least favorite player though.

KG missed games (probably so Minnesota could keep their pick) and slumped a little statistically, Wade had some great numbers but missed alot of games, LeBron coasted the first half of the season. It thought Dirk perhaps should have got it last year, so I'm fine with him getting it this year. Nash shouldn't get 3.

yeah, GS has absolutely owned the Mavs this year...of all the teams that they would have to play first in the playoffs.

And yeah, Nash shouldn't win another one...
