College Football Rankings 9-18
After only 3 weeks, the top teams have already sorted themselves out. Even the pollsters have caught on.
The Top 4
1. LSU - Have only given up 7 points all season.
2. USC - Has the best win (at Nebraska) of the top teams.
3. Oklahoma - Impressive offense, have yet to play on the road. With Texas floundering, likely won't face an elite team all season.
4. Florida - The defending champs have looked good, but defense was iffy vs. Troy.
The Rest
5. West Virginia - Suspect defense will doom them again.
6. Ohio St. - Looking like the class of the conference in a down year for the Big 10.
7. Oregon - A contender in the Pac 10?
8. California - Close call at Colorado St.
9. Boston College - Good win at Georgia Tech.
10. Kentucky - Someone has to be 10th, and they've earned it on the field as much as anyone. But don't expect them to stick around too long.
Watch list: Rutgers, Penn St, Wisconsin, South Carolina
