College Football Rankings 10-28

Finally, a semi-sane week.

1. Ohio St (9-0) - Looked good at Penn St.

2. Oregon (8-1) - My only concern with Oregon is the get all their toughest Pac-10 opponents at home. They do have the stomping of Michigan on the road however.

3. Arizona St (8-0) - Showdown at Oregon next week.

4. Oklahoma (7-1) - Was idle. Wins over Texas and Missouri can no longer be passed off as worth less than LSU's SEC wins.

5. LSU (7-1) - Was idle. Their strength of schedule took a pounding this week, with Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Florida, and Kentucky (embarrassingly so) all losing. Rather than he SEC having multiple elite teams, they probably have none (then again, there might not be a truly elite team in college football this season).

6. West Virginia (7-1) - On a roll, is a title game threat if they can get some help.

7. Boston College (7-0) - They did win, in this season I've had to be more lenient than normal with close wins. But I draw the line at having to recover an outside kick.

8. Missouri (7-1) - Uninspiring win against Iowa St.

Tie 9-15. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee. Seriously, give me something to work with guys.
